The first-ever CR-V Hybrid brings a new level of versatility to the Honda lineup of electric vehicles. The CR-V Hybrid comes with a standard all-wheel drive, 212 total system horsepower and a 40-mpg city rating. By pairing a 2.0-liter, DOHC-iVTEC Atkinson-cycle engine with an electric motor and e-CVT transmission, the CR-V Hybrid delivers ultra-responsive acceleration and impression efficiency. Steering wheel-mounted deceleration selection lets you increase or decrease the regenerative braking effect, which helps you charge the high-voltage battery when you release the accelerator pedal. The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid is available in ECON, Sport and EV drive modes. ECON mode is designed to help improve fuel efficiency, while Sport mode helps increase engine performance. EV mode lets you operate exclusively on the electric motor under certain conditions. Keep an eye on the power train through either the Drive Information Interface or the Display Audio touch-screen, to see whether the engine, the electric motor or both are supplying power or recharging the high-voltage battery.
